My apologies. Someone else colors the dailies,I don’t get to choose colors or even see them first. Obviously whoever is doing the job doesn’t read the text. They still let me color the Sunday strip.
They’re not overseas, cos I know one, and read about another. Some are very conscientious cos they love comics, but that means putting in their own time, beyond the ten minutes per strip covered by their not very high pay. Last I heard it averaged $20 an hour, one paid hour, per title, for a whole week of strips, Mon-Sat. Some do several, some just do one; nobody gets more than a few hours a week. Not a big enough job to outsource. But thanks, x_Tech! And yeah, Tony… It’s the artwork, the characters, and the excellent writing I come for.. I’d read it in black and white… Or purple and green.

Probably the coloring of all Gocomics strips is outsourced to an overseas animation studio where the technicians don’t read English?
