Bev…. that’s just Skipper’s nose.He knows to enough find a safe refuge from falling objects.
Meanwhile…. is Della referring to Dale’s square shape or his tendency to turn upside down?
Maybe his body has heavy bits inside, that settle into a square shape AND make him top-heavy….I mean…. maybe you can push him over and he pops back up, like the inflatable clown I had as a little kid…..Only Bopsy was right-side up.
Anyway, Bev….I saw your post from before the turn…and NO, the pups don’t chase dead cats!
The Monkey wanted to give me the cat YOU posted…. the long-nosed smelly one with the sign that said “Free Cat.”
I thought it looked dead…. then, amazingly, it moved….so I had to think of another excuse….or two… .or 17….or… um…. Wellllll….. I’m grateful that the Monkey cares about my birthday….and I wouldn’t hurt his feelings for anything…..But I just don’t need a cat….not THAT cat…y’know?
Hi X …. no, Kirby is also white…but he’s a bigger dog…and he belongs to Allison, not Della and Dale.
There are several white dogs n the neighborhood….I just found an old photo, in fact, of Skipper playing cowboys with Scooter, the biggest of the three…and white dogs Scruffy and Scuffy are even smaller
Scooter is the one looking back towards the camera. He’s also the one who taught Skipper to shoot.
Dennis… I’m not sure what question you meant….
But if you were talking about my explanation that it was Skipper’s nose in the picture…well…I think you can see why I said that..
But it is a family trait… in Dale Nertz’ family! As to the “thing” behind the chair, it looked to me like an animal arm about to click a remote, but it undoubtedly is a doggie nose.

Well, at least he is clothed, and in the privacy of his own house, unlike some of these Ballard Street men.

Bev, I have the same question, and I do not buy Susan’s explanation.

Well, he is using his head. Too bad it wasn’t for something more useful.
