Is it too late to recover them? I flew from Atlanta to Boston in December to interview with Raytheon and then go home for Christmas. The cabbie dropped me and my bags at the cargo terminal (I didn’t realize) and asked for a tip. I gave him a couple of bucks and then discovered I had to walk in a foot of snow for half a mile. Later I flew to Melbourne, FL to interview. The cabbie apologized that the temperature was only 65 because of a cold front. I took that job.

Yo Corey! As a small town guy who has lived in a series of even smaller ones, I appreciate not seeing jokes about them. As a general rule, I’ve found them nothing but friendly. And great places to live too.

I’ve lived in several small towns, never one that had taxi service unless you had to call a taxi out from the larger town miles away. There just isn’t enough need for taxi service to support the driver. If it’s more than a block or two to walk, just go out to the road and someone you know will be going that way.
