Why stop there?
To be an anchor (local, at least) these days you only have to whiten your teeth, wear ridiculous accessories (tie or necklace), and be incapable of stringing four works together in a coherent sentence.
“Television journalism” is an oxymoron. What these people are are “infotainment readers”.
