We had a lawyer who was the opposite of this. We were fighting to keep out mobile home (or at least get our downpayment back). We had ALL of our papers – receipts, correspondence, etc. – in order. The first clue that our lawyer didn’t have our best interest in order was when our “landlord” openly lied on the stand, and when I mentioned it to the lawyer, he “shushed” me. Another was when the lawyer & the judge made a golf date after we lost the case. Yeah, the judge ignored when my husband and I pointed out something in the agreement was crossed out and a correction was written in the margin…but our initials weren’t on there acknowledging the change.
As Steve Dallas, public defender, has shown, Mr. Pakipski is a harmless little innocent creature. So stop believing your own eyes! Innocent! Innocent! Until my dying breath!
