Back in 1999-2000, my husband & I lived & worked in a privately-run homeless organization/halfway-house. I worked as the secretary for the guy who ran it. He & I put together so many letters to the mayor, who insisted that our city didn’t have a homeless problem. I’ll never forget one letter we wrote; Mr. V ended almost every paragraph with the line that kind of became our catchphrase: “Do ya get it yet?” I kind of felt like Milo in this strip.
This is the kind of publisher that caused my wife so much anxiety, she had to leave her job as a journalist. The paper is now losing support and subscribers from all over the community because of his antagonistic attitude.

Of course this is a different ‘buzz’ that Senator Bedfellow usual gets.

Too bad that isn’t the case regardless of which party is in office.

I’d hate to find out he accidentally called his wife and that is her returning his call.

It is good to feel sympathy for neither side in this exchange!
