I like how Mythtickle uses dialogue to develop character and story line. Sight gags are great but there’s nothing wrong with dialoge, when it moves the story.

Why does the little guy’s flag change colors from panel to panel?? Is the spider talking about the cow’s spots or the flag in panel three??

Sir Dudley’s flag changes as his mood or thought process changes. As for panel 3, either the flag or the cow’s spots; one mimics the other.
