Star Wars is no Science-Fiction. More like a kiddie samurai anime wrapped in some SF glitter.
Reminiscent of the ancient western movies that were used to keep early TV on the air.

Stars Wars is classed as Science Fantasy. Good Science Fiction has to explain the science being used.
