I’ve heard him called a lot of things, but Political Windfall is a new one.

Jack-o comes to town, wasn’t the last celeb before him Mick Jagger and the Stones who did an interview on the local Farm Report? Anyhow, Jack-o was pretty popular at this time of the ’80s when Bonzo was skating to victory as Democrats had Mondale who floundered as Jesse Jackson managed to alienate a lot of people by trusting a Washington Post reporter and split the party and helped a lot of college kids like myself to look at 3rd parties.

The Jackson came to my town in the late ‘70s/early ’80s (I don’t remember exactly). They chose to eat at the restaurant my mother worked at, and she was their waitress. She told me that the family was very kind and well-behaved. A friend of mine who was a HUGE MJ fan (and this was pre-Thriller) found out and almost killed me for not telling her that my mom met Michael. (BTW, “Off the Wall” is a stellar album in its own right.

Hey, look! It’s raining old newspapers. Nowadays, idolizing Michael Jackson just leaves a sour taste. This is yet another poor choice by Milo the Meadow Party Guru….
