The bump and grind of the music makes it all feel different. And the women in skin-tight clothing! B^D

It’s too bad they always played disco music.

Steve, you know the sexual revolution ended when Time announced it and women went home to put on petticoats.

Before discos were the fern bars, the #41 Union bus and the Marina Safeway on Thursday evening. What a great time to be single, out of college, military ticket punched and starting a career in San Francisco. Adult life evolves, we grow up, Steve.

Was never much into music, but Disco was fun. Kindof bouncy and happy. Then one day I saw a bumper sticker, “Disco Sucks.” I thought, “Hmm. Well, each to his own, I guess.” Within a week NOBODY would admit to having liked Disco! “Oh, didn’t we see you bouncing down the sidewalk doing dance moves all the time?”

Steve, dress in a way that strikes a balance between sending a message that you take care of yourself (good fitting pants/jeans and a seasonally appropriate button-down shirt) and also gives the impression that you know how to handle the ‘to-do’ things around the house. Then go into craft stores like Michael’s etc. ;)

At least “poor” Steve has Portnoy for a wingman, should the unlikely happen (ha!)….
