aren’t the kids up pretty late to watch letterman? he was on 12:30-1:30 in the 80’s. even if they are in the central time zone this would be past midnight. pretty late for 8 year olds
We got to stay up late every now and then for special events, or maybe it is Friday Night’s episode, or maybe they recorded it on their Betamax VCR.
I feel Dave would have allowed that.
Way back when, a friend of mine told me “You have check out this new guy on TV, David Letterman; he’s funnier than Benny Hill!”
“Well, yeah, who’s not? Does he have anything else going for him?”
No, as it turned out – he did not.
“Bill – do an imitation of the comic character Cathy!” “ACK!!!”
Steve and David pretty much deserve each other; but I feel sorry for Bill, caught in the middle, and Paul….
