OT This made me recall a moment from an old Carson skit. Charles Nelson Reilley was the one asking the questions. The one I remember: Is your belly button an innie or an outie?

TWA was Howard Hughes’ premium international airline that he started to compete with PanAm. New airlines got started by buying used TWA planes. TWA’s reservations and flight plan system was used by several airlines desks. Karl Ican got the stock during a slump. He sold premium international gates, new aircraft, assets, raided the retirement fund and cleaned out the new aircraft purchasing fund. I flew on one of their later flights. It was a 25 year old plane that had been retired from third world cattle transportation.

Opus is a flightless bird. He should know better than to try.

Well, at least the penguin knows his own weaknesses.

I’m sure the ticket agent has heard it all, numerous times.

I flew TWA occasionally back in the olden times, even on a Connie, if I recall correctly (my favorite prop passenger plane of the late 1940s)….
