I mentioned in a previous strip that when I was a test engineer one of the guys was a big dish owner. He subscribed to a newsletter devoted to satellite hacking and cracking. Bootleg chips and how to wire up your receiver and all that. He lived out in the country, so his options were limited at the time.

That’s a very reactive graph board.

Too bad RadioShack is pretty much obsolete today.

Opus with a fake mustache looks like a Dali self portrait.

“County Profits.” God help us if the mega-capitalists ever achieve that dream. Governments shouldn’t be run like corporations.

Any electronics people read this chat board? Is that diagram legit for the satellite technology of the time?

I like Opus’s “live long and prosper” finger-web, nicely done!

I wish Berkley would restart this comic like he did a few years ago!

“Commando Video”? Does that mean they’re not wearing underwear?

Love the disguises! Opus should always wear a mustache. And Oliver’s glasses are right there on the desk before him.
I also love Milo’s power salute & Opus’ Vulcan salute.
The profits board updated quickly.
Finally, if anyone actually understands schematics: would that set up work? Asking for a friend.

Think you know Commando? You don’t know Shack!

“W.A. Thornhump III,” a thinly-disguised spokesblabber for Creator BB, pretends lily-pure innocence, while the Commando Video gang gives him the lie.
All’s well with the world!
