I love the timing of these rerun strips. A perfect counter to the mainstream media’s relentlessly implied legitimacy of a MONARCHY in the freaking 21st century — one whose members get all kinds of tax breaks, get-out-of-jail passes and other special treatment, even if they no longer actually rule. Grow up, world.

It always surprises me to see older clips and texts that talk about what later became a problem for the person. An actress joked about Harvey Weinstein in an award ceremony. The problem was known, even discussed, but no one did anything. Prince Andrew’s proclivities made it to this comic strip. Makes me wonder what we are missing today, maybe an ex president that is a Russian asset?

“Randy Andy” underwent a name change a few years ago. His new name is “disgraced Prince Andrew.”
