I keep being amazed by how much this comic strip got right about the future. Not every detail, but definitely the general direction.

Look at the pot lid. (grin)

Look at Opus’s nose on that kid.

Sometimes… scratch that, ALWAYS… it’s best not to know….

The men no longer get married. They just get the milk for free and pay for the ‘termination". Then the women live with their cats and work their butts off and get to about 35 and wonder "WAIT, is THIS women’s ’liberation’"?

Meanwhile—-What IS a woman any way? of a “Man”. What are these “assigned” constructs?

The PTL club may not have survived, but its militant wing did.

Yeah, I can’t figure out if the very cute baby looks more like Opus, or Jimmy Durante… maybe Barbara Streisand. That’s it… Barbara Streisand. I’m sure of it.

Opus is soldiering on right manfully (penguinly?) as House Husband, “20 years on”; I wonder what job future-Lola has?

I pity the poor kid his pop’s schnoz; maybe President Steinem’s medical insurance system will cover needful cosmetic surgery….
