Would a Hobbes tattoo be close enough?

When I see how prisoners are caged in some Central and South American countries, I have a hard time trying to understand what can be done about this horrible inhumanity. Even Rats in Paris are treated better. I wish I didn’t know about George Shultz’s tattoo, but it’s too late now.

Human dignity and humanity in general seem to be in extremely short supply at the moment.

Again a Sunday strip? This is very strange.

We were revisiting all the strips from 1987 in order, including Sunday strips (although no “new” re-runs are being published on Sundays). Last Tuesday, February 27, we revisited this Monday strip:

Since then, they have only posted Sunday strips, skipping all the weekday strips in-between them. We have skipped 23 weekday strips so far. That’s about a month of weekday strips.

It’s like they want to fast-forward the re-runs. I wonder why.

Dignity of humans… Much better chance of getting that tattoo from a cloned cannibal penguin living on The Island of Doctor Moreau.

Very relevant today what with the Israeli-Gaza mess and the Russia-Ukraine war of attrition.

I don’t think there are any tigers like George Shultz.
