Self-help “experts” getting rich off of suckers buying their b.s. books. It’s the same with seminar shysters. They pretend that they care and that they want to help you. They don’t. They just want your money. They’re parasites who prey on the weak-minded. Pity the fools who believe those frauds.
I have a tower of psychobabble that includes Jefferson Airplane, Imagine Dragons and Scissor Sisters. But I find true self help in the tower of Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Def Leppard and Aerosmith….turned up to 11.
Its not like our ancestors lacked getting advice. After all that is basically the origins of ancient philosophy, advice from intellectual busy bodies on how to live a good life. And they wrote book full of it such as Aristotle’s Ethics, Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations, etc…
