Reminds me of a Night Court episode where sleezy lawyer Dan Fielding was presumed dead, and the most positive thing his ‘friends’ could say at his funeral was “Dan was a mammal”. I always thought the Dan Fielding character might have been inspired by Steve Dallas.
A nasty boss died of cancer and everyone was praising him. I reminded each of how he had ****** them over. They then realized He Was A &#$&$(^^ after all!!
“Marley was dead, to begin with. There is no doubt whatever about that. The register of his burial was signed by the clergyman, the clerk, the undertaker, and the chief mourner. Scrooge signed it. And Scrooge’s name was good upon ’Change for anything he chose to put his hand to. Old Marley was as dead as a door-nail.”

“Steve was loved. In fact, the Local Strip Club loved him so much, they named a Pole after him.”
“THANK you, Lil…”

Being that there is no corpse, we all know that Steve will be back.
