Say, Steve had underwent Gephardization by the aliens. Why didn’t the Meadow Party nominate him? Steve versus the Shrimp and the Wimp?!?!?!? I know he was out and about campaigning for Jesse Jackson but it still would have been an interesting twist to the strip as it hurtles towards its end in not too much longer as we are now in ’88 and the strips shuts down/shifts to Outland in 1989.
