Last time I read anything about Springsteen was when his DUI charges in NJ were dropped after the prosecutor admitted to the judge that he could not prosecute The Boss. Apparently his BAC was only 0.02%, quite legal (from doing one shot of tequila with fans), and the Sandy Hook cop was out filling a quota and embellished his arrest report. While bonafide drunk driving is a horrendous offense and should be prosecuted, it is also shameful that police and the judicial system tend to try to say that one is guilty until proven innocent, not the other way around…… If Springsteen was just an “average Joe” , well “Joe” probably have had a DUI hung on him which could have had very far reaching implications such as financial distress and loss of employment. Springsteen was fortunate he had a dang good attorney.
I was always amazed that my looking rough like a mastiff or a bulldog did not hinder my marrying the most beautiful girl in the world. The aesthetic imbalance syndrome both worked and lasted for me much to the surprise of everyone whoever met us.
