Good for Frank! Lio now can charm Eva Rose in a leisurely way! It’s so nice to have talented and accommodating friends like Frank.

A snake is not a phallic symbol. Shame on you!

Awww mannn. She’s not worth it! Save your snake for someone else.

Oh man! I forgot the snake. Next time…

Well finally Lio gets to sing her his love song.

This is an eternal relationship:

She is Margaret to his Dennis the Menace. She is Viola to his Petey Otterloop. She is Brandy to his Frank

Actually I think its more like she is Morticia to his Gomez.

To show her appreciation, Eva’s got a lovely present planned for Lio:

A brand-new pair of snakeskin boots, with matching belt and vest.

cdward, you forgot She Little Red haired girl to his Charlie Brown.

And once Frank lets go, she’s probably going to be Batman to his Joker.

Interesting. The snake’s tail is threaded right-hand in Panel #2, but his head is threaded left-hand.

In #3 & #4, he’s right-hand all the way.

Maybe Lio sings as bad as I do. I’ve serenaded my girlfriend, but since when I sing I sound like Donald Duck gargling with barbed wire, I pretty much need a snake to hold her down!

Grog, how could I forget?! Good one.

pamlicorat, Morticia and Gomez are a great couple with similar instincts to Lio, BUT I didn’t include them because my list is of those eternal couples who will forever not quite get together.

Ironically, he’s singing “You Really Got a Hold on Me.”

I guess Lio thinks that the way to capture a girl’s heart is to get the whole lot and hope the heart’s in there somewhere.
