HectorPriam…I remember 25 cents in the late 60s and early 70s. We took a trip cross country and I remember my father furious for having to spend 33 cents a gallon.
I also got my first car in 1964, a ‘56 Chevy, and I also remember that gas was .25 and diesel was a nickel. Note now, that diesel is higher than gasoline and is less refinned.
