Ah, Clayton. I appreciate your sentiments in panel 3. I was deeply in love with a woman 13 years my senior when I was 22. Ultimately she broke my heart, but it was for the best, I have fond, fond memories of her.

Trapper John, what a silly thing to say. Why would you bother nit-picking about what Mom says? Who cares? And how is it political for her to say “person” instead of “woman”? She’s just not pegging him down when it’s not her place.

The real key to this strip is what Adam says: Ms. Sykes ain’t gonna have nothing to do with Clayton because a) it’s illegal and b) Adam would come after her. Both of these would eventually involve law enforcement.

A woman who goes after a 18 boy gets the snazzy name cougar. A man who goes after a 18 year old girl is a perv or a dirty old man Ladies and gentlemen of the Supreme Court, I ask you—

My daughter’s bf age 20 is dating a man who is 34. I am totally appalled by this, but she is of legal age. The man is a creep as far as I’m considered.
