They’re da bomb

You know, I know Faux News tends to “dumb down” the news a bit, but…

Yeah, like that diaper spill in the Gulf. Tried to blame it on the previous babysitter. The White House and Congress didn’t want to admit it happened on their watch. Covering it up didn’t stop the stink. You want to babysit, take responsibility.What do you think are the chances of La voting Democrat? Somebody threw a lot of babies out with the bathwater when they put thousands out of work with their knee jerk moratorium.

The “Big Stinky Boom-Boom” right now is the economy.

For some reason there seem to be more diaper jokes in the comics lately. It’s enough to make me nostalgic for fart jokes. (I’ll be recycling this comment on other comics today.)

I’m missing something about the whole “Anchor Babies” storyline. Could someone please fill me in on the backstory? Thanks.

Hey Lewreader, yes it may have happened on thier watch, but all of the permits and regulations, or lack there of, happened on the previous administrations watch. I still want to know how the goverment has apolicy meeting with the oil industry, at the goverments expanse and then refuises to release the findiongs under exectutive priviledge.

of course the republicans were begging Obama to replace the regulatory structure they created. designed by and for the industry it was supposed to regulate. right…….

Does anyone think Uncle Thevic has clarified anything? I’m still waiting for a useful explanation of “Anchor Babies”. I’ll check back in tomorrow.

You’d probably hear about “anchor babies” if you read anything about immigration issues in the US. The Fourteenth Amendment says anyone born in the US is a citizen, An “anchor baby” is a child born to parents who are in the United States on a short term visa or illegally.

Whether you agree with him or not, the President of the United States deserves respect. I don’t always vote democratic, but here lately I find it hard to do otherwise due to the, many and varied, hateful, and often undeserved, actions of the repiblican party.

Contrary to Uncle Thevic’s ungrounded assumptions about “this laddy”, I spend a great deal of time staying on top of current events, including the immigration issue and the border crisis. But somehow the “anchor baby” term passed me by.
