The loss of any type of productive musician is a great loss to all of us, as well as to his or her family and friends. Whatever beauty might have been created had only they lived, is gone where we cannot hear it. To compare one to another is to forget that you cannot say one form of art is ‘better’ than another. They are only different, and appeal to different folks.
