The men of yesterday obsess about sports on big screens, while the kids of tomorrow obess about words on small screens. Either way, no group seems interested in actual people in the same room. Not a good sign…

I hate clingy women like her. Doesn’t she have any hobbies or interests of her own? If she did, she would be a more interesting person and he might want to talk to her more.

One thing I hated as a kid was being shushed by an adult while they were watching TV. I told myself I would never do that to my kids. And now, thanks to the DVR, I don’t do so.
