Meema is much nicer to rabbits than I am. Or maybe the ones in my yard are only a bad, snotty bunch. Our relationship is more like “‘Battleship’ Down.”

Much nicer rabbits too, the ones in my neighborhood have an “eat it now” attitude. To be fair, if they don’t the deer will eat it first.

Good woman. . .we thought about planting our own strawberries, but figured the squirrels would get them all. . .

That is sort of what I would do too… I love animals.

In the first panel, the rabbit on the right wasn’t completely colored.

@Roberta, shame on you. Memaw is active and out there. From what we see, she eats a balanced diet. More and more the data is coming in that so long as one stays active, being overweight and even slightly obese when older is much healthier than a “normal” BMI. To sit in judgment so crudely is uncalled for in RL, much less a comic strip! And I for one applaud a strip for showing that one can be bigger than a size 4, older than 40 and still do things!
