Ralphie the dirty minded adolescent is back.

The small types of drones that ordinary (non CIA) people have are equipped with very wide angle lenses, so render humans as very small. A telephoto lens will not work because the drone is not stable enough and the image would be badly blurred. So privacy concerns about hobbyist drones are misplaced. The real concerns all involve safety.

What’s with the lettering?

Are there really adults who are going to invest in a “drone” to spy on their nude sunbathing neighbours? 14-year olds, possibly, but that will get old fairly quickly.

BTW, Naked Gardening Day, which is a real thing, this year is tomorrow. The sky will be dark with “drones” of course.

What happened to the lettering? I hope we aren’t losing another comic to crappy computer lettering!

I wonder if the Comic Strip Censor had to change some dialog, and redid all the lettering to cover his tracks.

If the drone is flying low enough just spray it with wasp spray! That’ll blur the image considerably.

Is that the reason for the not-so-clever efforts to make license plates unreadable (mud packs, snow balls, acid on the lettering).
