BrownStarfish! Excellent, from second grade! My friends come from a bit later because MS and HS was the time my dad was out of the army and we lived in one place. Unfortunately, I don’t know the whereabouts of any of those army base kids who traveled as much as we did. The worst year I ever had was three different schools in one year, and twice, I was at two different schools in one year. At least nowadays, the military doesn’t move families as much, mostly one place for three years. Now I live in Europe but times are easier, considering Skype, Facebook and emails.
Where are these schools coming from? I don’t recall ever seeing Milford play Sunbright in any sport. The Valley must be growing.
Wow, Menzie had a quick transformation since basketball season ended. I wonder how Maxwell feels about this? Will the girls team have to forfeit all of the wins she/he/it played in, which would be all of them? And how the hell did she get through law school so fast?
Looks like Judge (Hang ‘Em) Hiatt is about to throw the book, or a least the gavel, at Grand Master Bader. Kiss that job goodbye. I guess Young Master Bader will have to quit the team, get a grip ( So to speak.) and get a job to support the family. Somehow, I don’t think his team mates will be upset.
I think I had a lawyer once who would have told the judge, “Well, he was trying to get to .20, your honor, but the police pulled him over before he got to the next bar.”
In all reality, a lawyer and his client both wearing cullottes and suit jackets like Joe Pesci wore in My Cousin Vinny never wins much favor from a judge .
P1- Sterling Archer’s long lost son Hakeem appears to be in a perilous zone, much like tossing BP without a screen. Three Atta Boys or Atta Girls to the first Thorpian to respond to the type of zone young Archer logged in.
P-1:@lukebunkin- so you say they’re padding their lead?P-2: tough court, both the attorney and client are wearing body armor.P-3: I know your honor but One is the loneliest number.
I was watching the Heat-Raptors game last night and Wade shoots a layup in OT and it banks off the glass and bounces off the front of the rim and then comes to rest on the back of the rim. Just sits there. And my immediate thought this was this is exactly the sort of thing that would happen in Gil Thorp. http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2016/5/9/11647214/dwyane-wades-crunch-time-layup-unbelievably-stops-on-back-of-rim-vine
“While Hakeem Archer gets racked at Sunbright…” is going to be the least comprehensible sentence I read today. Pitchers don’t get “racked,” do they? Maybe they get “rocked” by a hitter, or they “rack up” strikes. Urban Dictionary is no help, they say getting racked means getting hit in the nuts.

A lot of flat butts today. Del should ask Judge Hiatt to “have a little faith in me.”

Love the Roman Gladiator suits in panel two. I guess they had to take off the helments to appear before Judge Whoopi.
