Gracie: Look what I got for you, Papi! Gracie: It's an adult coloring book! Gracie: It's a good way to reduce anxiety and put your mind in a much better place. Boy: It's working!
AmraLeoIn the early 20th century, before DNA was discovered for physical anthropology applications, Felix von Lauschen identified 33 different human skin colors from albino to a blue-black.
I’ve actually heard of people becoming more stressed with those coloring books. Mostly the perfectionist types. Then again, perfectionists probably have a difficult time de-stressing at all, I would imagine.
I am semi-artistic (I like playing with colors but not artistic enough to draw) – so coloring books work for me. I use both children’s (with crayons) and adult’s (colored pencils). That way I can take a short break (easy w/ crayons) or a longer one (complicated w/ colored pencils).
I like the patterns for stress relief, things like 3-D tesaracts and geometric whirlwinds, kaleidoscopes and such. For precision and prefection I have other books like Game of Thrones coloring book and Christmas scenes with lotsa of presents and Santa Clause’s.
