Looks like Notta is not fond of watching TV and haven’t heard the news yet. Or did she and is just sending Blaze to the laundromat to discard excess baggage (Blaze) and make her escape with Purdy.
I’m glad Mike Curtis and Joe Staton brought back Mrs. Chin Chillar, and with the Gould look that makes her so memorable. Even the cigarette dangling out of her mouth is classic Notta. I also appreciate the twist that Blaze has become her housekeeper and slave, a reversal of Mrs. Chin Chillar’s original role where she did all the work for Piggy. Thoughtfully put together. Looking forward to how this plays out now that Tracy’s reputation has been cleared.
Again, I’m confused at Mrs Chillar’s whole plumbing situation. She has a hot tub, but no washing machine. That is a weird set of priorities. It sure is. I thought maybe they were living in a fancy, upscale apartment house, but if they were, the apartment house would surely have its own laundry room.Does anyone remember – where are they now? They moved from the house where Tracy interviewed them after they saw the Blackhearts arrests on TV. I thought they just sort of popped up again, and we really don’t know if they are in a house or apt. or where.
This was not the first time Wendy has been publicly embarrassed by Putty Puss and Tracy came out on top.
During the original PP storyline, Diet Smith was running for President. PP knocked him out and stuffed him in a closet. Then PP, disguised as Diet, proceeded to conduct a press conference (with Wendy in attendance) where he made statements which derailed Diet’s campaign. Wendy’s reporting was eventually proven wrong by Tracy but by then it was too late for Diet to re-enter the campaign. Even so, Wendy had to eat crow on that incident as well as this current one.
The laundromat? That’s for heavy stuff like all the bedding and Purdy’s stuff, and everyday outerwear. Notta’s “moon” costumes and other dainties or intimates are probably done at home, maybe even by hand. But the blatant plot point is that the laundromat represents Blaze’s way out. It’s where she may meet up with T-Ball (Lee Ebony undercover) and extricate herself from being controlled by nasty Notta. Will that happen this time? “Oh, joy.” Or not? Tracy is finally on Notta’s case now, so some kind of resolution must be nigh….
Actually, I am not sure Tracy can pin anything on Notta. There is no evidence supporting the fact that she sent the tape to Wendy. And, it is not a crime to have sex and film it for your own purposes. The fact that Putty Puss was disguised as Tracy can be written off as cosplay during sex.
It all depends on how much Putty Puss revealed in his confession (which we did not see)—and even then, he is insane and so how much can he be believed?
“Of course you do, since her perspective aligns very much with your own !!”I love affirming people who agree with me. Especially when they’re right! hehe
From last night:I often wondered if H-B did the opening animation for “Bewitched”
Yes, they did. “The artwork for the opening is the work of Hanna-Barbera Productions, who are best known for their animated series The Flintstones. In fact, various members from the cast of Bewitched were voice actors for Hanna-Barbera cartoons.” More details at http://www.harpiesbizarre.com/animatedopening.htm. Scroll down past the black and white panels for the list of Bewitched people involved in various H-B productions.
Might that be Blaze’s opportunity to roll over on Notta? She might have witnessed the hit order.I just reread the April 25 and 26 strips, where Notta sent Screwball to Putty Puss. Blaze did indeed hear her, but there was no actual “hit order” – Notta was craftier than that. She just gave Screwball the address where Putty Puss could be found. He was calling to get payed for “making deliveries” – I guess he took the incriminating material to the YV station. I’m not sure if he had agreed beforehand to do that in exchange for Putty Puss’ whereabouts, of if he thought someone was going to pay him money at that address, and was surprised when Putty Puss answered the door. To me, that was never made clear.
Ooops. I think I found an error in the writing. On May 5, Tracy says the ID # tattooed on Niav’s shoulder is his birth date. Yet, on Sunday we saw it, and it was “2769-0” I suppose that could mean Feb 7, 1969 or 2 July, 1969, but it isn’t structured like an ordinary birth date – and what does the “0” mean?
Might that be Blaze’s opportunity to roll over on Notta? She might have witnessed the hit order.
As I was just saying, Blaze certainly could have an opportunity to roll over on Notta. The question is whether she will take that opportunity. She is nothing if not loyal.
That the replacement Darrin couldn’t hold a candle to the original as he just didn’t have the spitfire when it came to putting his foot down …
I don’t think I ever saw the series when it first aired. I was probably too young to appreciate it then. I watched all of the series in reruns and I think I got familiar with the new Darrin before I ever saw the old Darrin, so I don’t have a big preference either way. It’s an interesting experience when you watch it all out of order. It changes your perception.

Notta is often seen wearing the same outfit, so …
… might there be more to these “laundromat trips” than meets the eye?

To those who thought Notta would be nabbed while Blaze was safely away at the laundromat, I think you may be on to something……

Can anyone not honestly say the whole, “Tracy’s a cad!” story was a major disappointment?
