Kind of? Lucy is the worst kind of ugly — ugly on the inside.

I don’t think Lucy is ugly on the inside. Sure, she is crabby and a bully, but she has her little heart somewhere in there, even though it is so deeply buried that she hardly shows it.

Maybe the WW 1 hero is in France for the European soccer championship

I just left France: the rivers are up and closed to navigation, the train and plane workers go on strike at will and of course the futball as mentioned plus the Tour de France at the beginning of July—what a mess!!

The locks workers were doing the pre-announced strikes/lock closures—but now it doesn’t matter—since no lock is operating.

I like the expression in the last panel on Lucy- what on Earth is going on here?

She’s kinda ungly, but is the gal who you kiss the most.

I never thought that Lucy was ugly. And isn’t that just like a male to pass judgement on a girl’s looks! When you are young it seems to be more important, but as you mature, you get smarter about it. Usually.

Put a paper bag over her head.

Point to Snoopy for confusing the heck out of Lucy.

I’m reminded of Willy Nelson’s song about going home at 2 with a 10 and waking up at 10 with a 2. Perhaps with nothing stronger than root beer, you don’t find that happening.

Today Lio strip features Charlie Brown.

She is kind of funny-looking for a dog.

Years later, the Flying Ace spent a lot of time in a charming French Cafe’, which (to Marcie) looked a lot like her kitchen!

She won’t look so bad after a couple of root beers, Snoopy.Also as pilots of a later era (A-10 Warthog drivers) will say, “Go ugly early.”

I’ve been chuckling all day over Snoopy’s comment in the last panel… :D
