Barry’s brother doesn’t seem too worried about Dad: Prospect Harrison Bader fell one game shy of tying Class AA Springfield’s franchise record for a hitting streak. Bader’s streak ended at 17 games with a hitless evening Tuesday. Bader was the 100th overall selection in last summer’s draft. His 17-game streak tied for the longest this season in the Texas League, and during the streak he hit .419 (31 for 74) with five homers, 12 extra-base hits and 13 RBIs. He leads all Double-A players with a .359 average.
I’m a bit confused. During Young Master Bader’s tirade, he never mentioned the name of the cow judge, yet Big Ken Brown was mad because Master Bader insulted his mama. Does Central City have only one judge? That doesn’t make it much of a city. And should that judge really be discussing her cases with her family?
Also, how come Marty hasn’t gotten wind of this little locker room dust up? A hard drinking, er, working reporter like him should have a source for this kind of info. He could make this season an udder disaster for Gil.
It’s nice to see that Young Master Bader is beginning to take this so well. He just might be able to make a few bucks off of his dad’s misfortune.
In all reality, Master Barry knows that the envelope with cash has been passed to the Judge and the fix is in Little did the Judge know Dad was an FBI informant .
@sweetg1: as Ellisburkes might comment- In the late sixties Kelloggs marketed OK cereal with Big Otis (a Scotsman) as it’s spokeman. This led to another singing duo Haggis and Oats. Of course, he’d apologize.

Good to see the Sign Man Brothers well-represented on the baseball team. They’ve been around for years. How much eligibility do these guys have?

Maybe trying to live up to Harrison Bader’s success has put that chip on Barry’s shoulder.

If the court date is coming up soon, what was the earlier court date? Seems way too complicated for a DUI case, as we’ve discussed before.

You might say he’s pulled himself together, or he’s more in touch with himself, or maybe he’s getting a grip.

Must be fist pump sons — they would fit right in with Bader on this team.
