Phew! Done yet?? To make a one pound honeycomb, bees must collect nectar from about two million flowers! Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf is only the 10th Swedish monarch named Carl. The six others have been fictitious. Astronaut Scott Kelly celebrated his 300 day on the International Space Station by playing ping-pong using two hydrophobic paddles and a water droplet!

Carl XVI Gustaf succeeded his grandfather when his own father was killed in an airplane crash when he was under one year of age. His eldest child Victoria will be the first queen regnant of Sweden since the early 18th century. Victoria’s husband Daniel was born on the exact day and year Carl XVI Gustaf ascended the throne. He is also a first cousin of current queen regnant of Denmark Margrethe II.

If the flowers have been sprayed with Bayer neonicotinoids, they won’t live long enough to make that honeycomb.
