Nellie doesn’t realize her “vacuum” is actually a lawn mower.

Of course the little robot communicates with the silverware. And with the coffeepot, the stove, and even the grandfather clock.

Nellie doesn’t realise it…. but the housekeeping is a coordinated effort. It doesn’t exist in a vacuum, you know.

LROS: yes, we follow Crankshaft in the paper. One of my favorites. Sorry that this arc brings up sad memories for you. If one had a choice, one would be Crankshaft’s kid.

Like so many non-thinking people, the robot only accepts information that it is spoon fed.

Ours definitively has a mind of its own. It turns on at random, dances around then wanders off. Maybe it is looking for the mother ship.

What message is the vacuum receiving from the silverware? “Help! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!”?
