Maybe a total of 4-6 aspirin tablets spread over the year when the allergies are making me cough enough my head hurts, and the rarer prescription after surgery, and that’s it.
When my mom died suddenly, my dark sense of humor kicked in for a while. I told people that death was nature’s way of telling Mom to cut back on her smoking (which, ironically, she had actually started to do, again, after it flared up when my dad died the year previous).

Not all pluggers have high blood pressure. Mine is normally at around 104/60.
