Calvin should have done his research. He needed to kmow you need much more balloons to lift you up. If you want fun with just one balloon, swallow the helium and let the fun begin.

Hmm… I saw a little kid do a face plant today, but it didn’t bother him at all, even after he sat up and thought about it.

Never tried balloons but did depart the roof with cardboard wings, terminating in meeting the ground.

I remember it. The balloon eventually burst and Calvin fell to earth but was able to save himself with a ray gun.

He should’ve waited for a strong gale first and then jump.(just kidding, kids!)

Lesson learned.

This is why schools should teach physics at a much younger age.

Personally, I thought Calvin might untie the balloon, open his mouth, inhale, and let the helium do its work.

Come to think of it, I’ve never really thought about how Calvin’s (or Hobbes’) voice might sound …
