My sister’s cat liked potatoes and anything else we would give up. But now she got a dog. omg My cat likes thanksgiving day cause everybody can give up small pieces of turkey and she likes the rolls for some reason.

His Majesty likes toast, not bread, toast.

My current two won’t touch human food but I have had cats who would eat potatoes, bread (regular and toast), crisps, and even some veggies along with the usual meat and fish scraps

My grandmother had a cat who went totally crazy over green beans…I’d go to her house for lunch during high school, and every time green beans were cooked, she’d be begging for them, “Meow, meow, meow!!!” I’d give her one, and she would crouch down on the floor to gobble it up, then once she was finished with it she’d be back and begging for more.

I’m not sure which is my new favorite, “Oh, whiskers” or “Oh.My.Cat.” Love them both!

Well, two truisms here: 1. Toddlers call things based on what’s fun to say. and 2. Toddlers are NOTORIOUSLY unreliable dinner providers!
