Tracy triumphant.-A well-deserved vacation.-Earned and due indeed.

All I can say about the “long vacation” is that vacations never really work out for Tracy. I was going to wait till the weekend before recapping the Notta story but talk of what’s happening next really belongs with the next story, so I’m placing the division between today’s two frames.

I’m still running a little behind on things. I slices off about 1/16 to 1/8" off the corner of my thumb Thursday morning (while cutting carrots) and I couldn’t do anything till it stopped bleeding. It’s still very sore. Plus, I shut down my computer the night before last and when I turned it back on 5,000 files were deleted from the desktop. I spent all day yesterday trying to see if I could undelete any. Luckily, more of the deleted files were temporary and not very important.

It’s difficult for me to imagine workaholic Tracy ever actually wanting to take a vacation.

So, this is the segue into the Fearless Fosdick story line?

Tracy will go on vacation, and find the body of Otis the janitor.I can’t help it. Otis has become the Jimmy Hoffa of this strip.Maybe Fosdick will find him.

Seeing Bribery and Notta together makes me wonder. Will the two of them every team up with Purdy to get the stashed gold off the moon?

Many here were wondering if the police really had any valid charges they could bring against Notta, and if they would stick. It appears the Chief is all set to move on. Is Notta in jail – will she stay there?

aw hell, last time tracy took a long vacation he ended up on some whacked out island with little orphan annie…PLEASE NOT AGAIN!!! lol

Summer Vacation….Good Morning Dick & All….

Yeah, Dick! How’s about a nice trip to the desert? Remember that one?

Why does the colorist get Notta’s hair color right (yellow blonde) when she’s pictured on the monitor, but makes it light green in every other scene? After three years of off and on appearances by Notta, they still can’t get it right.

That’s why, in a restaurant’s kitchen, it’s standard procedure to wear a heavy glove on the hand that doesn’t hold the knife.

I’ve been thinking about getting one of those gloves.

It’s readily available and not very expensive. Deer hunters use it when cleaning the deer after it has hung for however long it’s supposed to. It’s really the same thing and if you are seriously into cooking, it’s an almost necessary tool.

I’m praying that you heal quickly!Other Tracy “vacations” from Gould’s day that were not as relaxing as hoped for:On the lake, where Tonsils was laying in wait to shoot Tracy, and Bonny and Sparkle were missing for several weeks.In the North Woods, where Bonny ended up in the hands of Crewy Lou.Tracy and Sam were both ready to start out on a vacation when two kids found a skeleton in the cement of a bridge – leading to the Oodles story.Just before leaving, a torrential rain caused massive flooding and all hopes of traveling were gone. After finding Sparkle and Little Wingy, who were lost in the flood, Tracy had to deal with Rughead.There were a couple of times that a vacation actually was a vacation, but more often Tracy has trouble getting out of town!

Didn’t he just have time off?

He got suspended if you can call that “time off,” but he had to try to clear his name during that time, so it really wasn’t a vacation.

If Tracy gets his vacation (but really not all that long), I suppose Fearless Fosdick will take over the detecting duties in the interim. It could be a really crazy run….
