Dumb helps with fetch sometimes. I was playing frisby with my wife-to-be, and I sent the frisby out into the lake. Fortunately a guy came by with a black lab and let me borrow the dog to retrieve the frisby. I threw a rock out by the frisby and the dog took off after it. When he couldn’t find the rock, he returned with what he could find, the frisby.
Our dog takes the attitude “You threw it; you o get it.” The first time I threw him a Kong, he chased it. The second time, he waited until it had stopped bouncing and then went after it.

My last dog upon seeing the ball would take off before I threw .It was my job to lob it over and in front of her run !
