Ah, the old escape-out-the-back-door-of-the-incenerator trick.Works every time.

The Incinerator got incarcerated. Irony; you’re soaking in it.

That blast will go back up that shaft and kill the monster and the surviving chefs in the kitchen.

I am so relieved that Doc was able to slam the door on the Buddibomb, and at the very last second! It said yay I guess because that one was focused on getting the threat (Holly and Doc) out of the building.Tenacious, while the others seemed to have re-directed to the real monster.

Nice they got away from the monster and the buddi bombs. I can’t help but wonder what fresh horrors await our intrepid mouse woman and her step dad. I suppose we’ll find out on Wednesday.

I’m still not sure if the fly or bounce. Holly’s eyes just keep getting bigger. Maybe they will get a chance to at least catch a breath. Find some clothes, and scuttle out of there.

Interesting, it is a Krupp Incinerator.

I will let you all think about that one and World War Two.

That Buddibomb looked so damned cheerful as it dropped down the chute intent on killing. Talk about enjoy your work!

Also, Doc seems to have landed in a pile of something probably better not examined too closely (panel 1).

Think it is more luck than planning.

You would want to stand away from the door in case it gets blown off its hinges.

So Doc Chase did recover consciousness.

Going from the frying pan to the fire is always best when the stove is turned off for cleaning. I’m really excited about all this! Anyone else having a blast?

One last bit of secret information – we’re about one week from WW III.

Anybody decipher the brand-name on the incinerator? Krupp? Kwipp? Kaipp?

Is it me or are the explosives on those buddibombs much stronger than they need to be?

I am just loving every frame of this. The hardest part is waiting door the next installment.

I suddenly feel more accepting of the incinerator in Monday’s strip.

you know, making smart grenades that hunt down a specific target before detonating would seem like a good idea, except when the explosive yield is still high enough to cause MASSIVE collateral damage it defeats the purpose.

The force of the explosion might also be because all of the BBs in the kitchen ALSO went off: the pressure wave would have traveled down the chute, just like they did.

I have to wonder why they programmed the Buddi-Bombs to yell “YAY!” before exploding. By the time the owners have a chance to say “Oh how cute!”, it’s already too late for them to reflect on the whimsy.
