Good term. It’s true…everybody is playing their part so all seems secure. But in reality we don’t know when someone is planning harm. Reminds me of the expression…Locks are to keep the good people out.
BobI wouldn’t know. I cannot comment on that one because my “email is in use”. Yeah, by me, for several years, with no difficulty in using it elsewhere, or even with them prior to this year. So that is proof I am not entitled to use it there. There is no way to contact them, the newspaper that supposedly carries them, etc. as the contact addresses are all declared to not exist. Can anyone suggest a solution?
Hippogriff… I’d like to help but I’m lost…what “that one”, “there” and “them” are you referring to?I was thinking maybe you meant Comics Kingdom…but I’m sure you know that many newspapers carry some but not all of the King Features strips… And I still don’t know what your e-mail being in use prevents you from doing.Commenting on Comics Kingdom, maybe?Or joining the site?
Cos if it’s the latter…. that “in use” stuff comes up on some websites if you actually joined at some point in the past, and are still unknowingly on record…
I’d click “log in” next time, instead of trying to create a new account..and then click the “forgot password” link. They will e-mail something to that address, since they say it’s in use…and if you get it, you can “reclaim” your apparently existing account.
Of course… I realise you could be talking about something totally different. If so…um… never mind..
SusanSunshineYes, the previous comment was on Comics Kingdom. I didn’t realize the ambiguity until coming back to it before closing time.
I get the “in use” message if I try to comment. However, it was hardly a return after a long absence. I was commenting four or five times a week and suddenly not permitted to comment at all, no warning or explanation. At first, I thought it might be related to Frontier taking over from Verizon, but I have not had the problem anywhere else.
I will try the :log in, forgot password" method and see. If you notice thee hippogriff made it back posting, you will know it worked. Otherwise, thanks for the attempt.

It’s not so much the taking them off as it is putting them back on the correct feet.

When they turn 75, they’ll no longer have to take off their shoes.
