Went to see Heart, 5th row. Actually got physically sick from how loud it was and we were wearing earplugs. Ridiculous, spend over 200 and you can’t actually HEAR the music because it’s so loud it’s more of a body slam.
In the late 70’s I was in around the 5th row for Ted Nugent and Black Sabbath, my ears were ringing for days. I surprised my hearing is still good after all the concerts and loud music in cars, headphones etc…

For me it was generators and Arty(Artillery). Small arms-we all were required to wear hearing protection.
