What did you expect? When a president dies, our government throws a party on almost every channel.

We took a photo of my Dad standing beside my mother’s casket….not really a selfie and not smiling, but… he wanted a last photo with her.

At least the casket is closed.

I had it out with a sister eight years ago for insisting on taking pictures at my Dad’s wake. I was angry…..very angry. I recently heard she lost her husband a few years ago. I’m very tempted to call her, express my condolences , and ask her to send me pictures of her husbands Wake…..I’d love to see how “happy” she was. To me, taking pictures at a wake isextremely insensitive to those deeply hurt by the passing of a loved one. Getting behind a camera and taking pictures was her way of excusing herself from what was really going on and not having to be part of it. She wanted to be a “spectator”….hope you can understand my thought pattern here.

I’m of the opinion that she has absolutely no idea what’s in the background

Could be me at my ex’s.

“And this is me hanging out with Grandma.”

In Portugal an open casket last photo is a thing.

Did someone she didn’t like die?
