Dad: Wow, that's big news, what do you think of that? Older Baldo: I like it when people do stuff about problems. Dad: You think politicians really understand the problems here? Adult Baldo: Oh, they understand, but they do what makes them look good. Dad: So what do you think the answer is? Adult Baldo: Well, there are lots of smart people in this country... I'm sure somebody can figure out a solution. Adult Baldo: I like it when you listen to what I say, it makes me feel like you value my opinion. Baldo: But if this is some parenting trick, it's not gonna work!

Why would those men be in Washington if they didn’t know what they were doing? I’m smart enough to ask my family’s advice, but I’m not stupid enough to take it.
