The hours of daylight don’t change. Just our perception of it.

Not a fan either and if the government insists with this I suggest that instead of a full hour, make it a half hour and leave it there.

This is an odd time of year to be changing times! The EU has recommended that countries cease doing this. Whether they will or not is another matter.

If this strip follows the same time period as the previous ones on Halloween, then the clocks would go BACK and there would be an extra hour of daylight, not immediate darkness.

Yes, let’s definitely get rid of Daylight Saving Time, or limit it to only a couple of months in the middle of summer. If you want that extra hour of daylight in the evening they you get up and go to work an hour early, don’t force the rest of us on your schedule. There’s a reason it’s called Standard Time, let’s keep to the standard.

I’m ok with either Daylight Saving Time or Standard Time. I would rather pick one and stick with it. Changing messes up people’s internal clocks and we need more than a Sunday to adapt to the change. for the last several years I have found myself getting up and hour early in November and December until I realized that it was the same time as any other month, just with the clocks changed due to the time shift.

Changing timepieces is dumb. Stop pretending that you are doing anything. If summer hours have any value, simply change to “summer hours”.
