They always work — after you’ve given up and removed your hands!

Older folks, less heat in the hands for the IR to sense?

This is not an uncommon event for me. It’s frustrating and embarrassing. Especially when other ladies are seeing I’m having a problem and try to “help.” Seems some of the faucets work by motion, some by touch to a particular place. Please whomever decides these things make it universal!

Ha! Just last week I had to get soap from one dispenser and go through three danged sinks to get one that worked. But there were no paper towels…….

So I did the “man dry.” (dried them on my trousers.)

My soon to be ex-wife hates the man dry…….but I have taught my sons the man dry so it will live on!

What messes with my head is when they have almost everything automatic in a restroom except one function and then you look stupid waiting for it to activate automatically!

New office has the hands free paper towel dispenser. Took me about a week to find the sweet spot and stop doing the hokey-pokey every time I tried to dry my hands. Late last week, it ran out of paper (and of course there are no refill rolls in the office) so we ended up stacking the old fashioned paper towels on a chair by the sink.
