So I’m sort of guilty of this, in a way. We have an “ornament” tree (metal, lots of curly hanger branches, 18" high). It sits on a table all year long and I do have ornaments for each holiday. My mom had a ceramic goose I got her for her porch that had outfits for each holiday. The grands love the little tree.
Problem is, putting up/taking down the decorations is a HUGE part of the process. So changing them out periodically isn’t really going to be a time saver.
For some reason, we never took the tree down in the basement. Still has it lights too. One of those, “Maybe tomorrow I’ll take it down,” things. But not today.

Make it an Easter tree with bunny rabbits and chicks.

I once put on a play with kids titled “The Tree That Stayed Up All Year.”

I am amazed at how many times they run a Christmas strip.

And, I hope it’s a fake tree . . .

Why don’t you put a Japanese folding partition in front of it and move it into a corner until December?

Actually, I know people that have a tree up – maybe not a Christmas tree per se, but a tree nonetheless, that they decorate just like WCraft suggests.
