Nancy: HEY---Did you have THE LENS CAP on all day???
Sluggo: The WHAT?
Sign reads: COUNTY FAIR
This was one problem that could not happen back in the day with an SLR the same lens that exposed the film was also used for the viewing lens. If you left the cap on, you would see blackness. Are digital cameras SLR?
The problem with SLR cameras was making sure the film “caught” on the take-up reel. I could see what I was shooting, but once lost half of my Cozumel pictures when I noticed my 36-shot roll was at 41. I had not made sure the film threaded.
I like lots of old things, but I love digital cameras!

Can’t see doing that with a digital camera. I guess Sluggo still uses film.

Ok, I had to try. Yes, I can take photos with my digital camera with the lens cap on. But I can’t see anything through the viewfinder.

Reminds me of the joke about C. B. DeMille that ends ready when you are C. B.
