Huh. Another good kid..That being said, it does look like they’re gonna run this one through the traditional summer plot arc block. I expect they can milk this through July anyway.
In all reality , I sense a Kummbyah Moment developing . A repentant Master Bader will proclaim to True and his teamates his sorrow and beg for forgiveness . Summer begins with Gil and Kaz trying to figure out who is going to replace True at QB
Well, well, well, Gil makes an appearance at practice. I imagine tomorrow, or later this week, Mimi will do the same drill with the girls. It’s not looking good for a trip to Milford CC this year with all of the stories that still have to be resolved. Will the girls pull together and win the championship for Boo and if so, who will pitch. I’m looking at you Menzie.
Next. danger, danger Young Master Bader. You might think about transferring to another school.
There should also be a funeral or at least a memorial service for Boo and of course, the trials of Grand Master Bader and the cow judge’s revenge. That should take us right into the first football practice.
In all reality , Gil says thanks Mike . Fellas, allow me to introduce the Hardy Boys , I’very asked them here to solve The Case of the Missing Pickup Truck and Driver !
P2- Mike Granger’s knee looks tenderized after a season of catching. Mike wanted to start and we all know who likes to finish and I’m not referring to Milford’s closer.
In a world where Rubin pretends the Thorps never had kids, it’s possible that Boo’s accident never really happened either. Think Bobby Ewing on Dallas. So, I’m starting a Boo Gone Missing Count. We last saw her on June 7, so today is Day 13. On second thought, I’m not looking for another thing to count. I’ll just let it go at 13.
The kids have to take it out on somebody. I don’t think they realize that there is a second vehicle out there and probably actually did Boo in. She may have had a head injury or other injury from Bader hitting here, but I think the mysterious truck driver did her in. And why has ahe pick up driver not yet been identified? He/she didn’t drive away. They showed the truck on a wrecker being hauled away.
Is the whole team mocking Barry in P-1?P-2: Oh yeah, and we’re sad, that’s the ticketP-3: (as Fire Sign Theater would say) let’s lynch him! Anybody got any lynch?
When I first read P1 I thought Gil (I guess that’s Gil) was mentioning that Mike Granger wanted to be the starting pitcher for the next game. And what coach uses his player’s full name when talking to the team, instead of just saying “Mike” or “Granger” or “G-Man” or whatever? I guess someone who is a stranger to the team now that I think about it. And speaking of thinking of things, you should think about reading today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

Mostly, we’re hoping we can just mouth vague platitudes, of course.

Maybe we won’t see Coach Kaz this summer, because he is in the hospital recovering from an accident in his pickup truck.

Shouldn’t True be leaving for college summer practices yet?
